The Wedding

At the ceremony, cuban and spanish music is performed. The bride and groom give each guest a small gift. This is a way of saying thank you to each guest for coming to the wedding and being a part of this very special event. There is a large table that is set up for a place to put gifts. Each guest must bring a gift, so the table gets filled up easily.

Every Cuban's wedding consists of a traditional money dance. During this dance, men will dance with the bride, but they must pin money to their beautiful dress. This helps the newlyweds with wedding and honeymoon expenses.

The bride and groom share the traditional toast and cut the cake together just like a normal American wedding.
